Repertoire and Didactics in the Artistic Dimension of the Accordion
Who is the musician, who is the professor, who is the student at the present time? Which are their responsabilities?
Discovering the accordion's origins and sound-identy in the italian and the international context is a way to achieve awareness about the Present in order to build solid basis for the Future. Starting from the '80s the artistic dimension of the Accordion has been changing a lot, new repertoires have developed the sound expressive skills of this young instrument. That means the necessity to bring a clear updating of the didactic dimension.
If playing is Art, it should be as deep reason for life and not an acrobatic exibition, then, it's inevitable that repertoires, didactic and artistic creation shall walk together.
